Dunford Plantation

Dunford Hill Court on Captain O’Neal Drive

During the British occupation of Baldwin County (1763 to 1780), many of the wealthy government officials built lavish plantations on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.  This choice tract of land was part of the 200-acre bay front plantation of the acting Governor Thomas Dunford.
