Under the strong leadership of Mayor E. Harry Brown and the City Council, the Daphne Public Library was built in 1996, the Recreational Center in 1997, and both the Senior Center and the Civic Center in 1999. These beautiful facilities are a tribute to the hard work and dedication of many Daphne citizens who have donated untold time and effort to enrich our community.
