Zachariah M. and Martha Bush built this lovely board-and-batten home in 1900.  They opened their home to boarders who were usually students at the Daphne Normal School.  Room rent was one dollar per day.  Boarders cooked their own meals in a kitchen, which was in a separate building behind the main house.
