In 1976, this public park was opened to commemorate the 200 anniversary of the founding of our nation. Ages of the three magnificent oaks, shading this park, are estimated as 200 years old (the oak with a hole in the trunk) and 300 years old (the twin oaks and thelargest oak with a single trunk).
